Senior Specialist, Group Medical Services Division shall be responsible in supporting the Vice President, Group Medical Services Division in the overall operational planning of medical services across all ADNOC Group Medical Facilities (Ruwais, Onshore and Offshore).
The position holder shall also provide support in the implementation of ADNOC HSE Management System by ensuring sustained medical response/support and coverage for operations of ADNOC Group at all operational sites (onshore and offshore locations).
Job Specific Accountabilities
Assist in the overall operational planning for all ADNOC Group Medical Facilities.
Assists in providing support to medical operators in the planning and development of medical services, capacity expansion projects, new projects and/or services.
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account international best practice', improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
Supports in the implementation of ADNOC HSE Management System in consultation with all concerned internal and external stakeholders including ADNOC HSE, NCEMA and DOH in the provision of continued medical coverage and prompt medical response across all ADNOC sites
Regularly reviews, provides recommendations in the development phases & milestones of the Medical Risk Register & Mitigation Plan and ensures that the required mitigation measures are implemented.
Supports in the development and finalization of annual business plan and for ensuring conformance to local and federal regulatory requirements.
Review and prepares HSE aspects of procurement of equipment and services including preparation of requisitions, technical bid evaluation, vendor data review, scope development and management.
Maintains and updates HSE budgets & schedule register of HSE Budget Management, Maintain schedule / list of PPE Stock and their maintenance.
Actively participates in the overall risk management program for medical services Division by identifying potential risks within Medical Services division facilities. Responsible for providing support in investigating variance by working with quality & Risk to investigate reports related to patients, visitors, physicians and employees.
Collaborates with quality & Risk in Clinical Performance Improvement, Infection Prevention and Control, Compliance, Claims and others to identify and facilitate improvement initiatives based upon findings of event analysis.
Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective business objectives.
Provide input for preparation of the Function / Division / Department / Section budgets, assist in the implementation of the approved Budget, and work plans to deliver business objectives.
Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

Implement approved Function/ Division/ Department/ Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the work programs in line with Company and International standards.
Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Function/ Division / Department/ Section in line with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
Provide inputs to prepare MIS and progress reports for Company Management.
COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Liaises with ADNOC Head Quarters, Group companies and Medical Operators for the development of programs to meet public health needs.
Consults and coordinates with health officials and representatives of public and private health agencies in the enforcement of health laws.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine, Life sciences, Business Administration or equivalent.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
10 years of professional experience in healthcare field.
Knowledge of HSE and regulations related to risk management is desired.
