Head of Marketing will provide leadership and strategic vision to the entire product categories (Jewellery, timepieces and with a specific focus to High-Jewellery). He/She will aim to increase the brand awareness and visibility, maximize sales potential, and optimize new products launches in accordance with the Maison objectives for the Middle East region. He/She will be acting as a coach and guiding direct reports to establish clear communication channels and enhance achievement of the goals.
DUTIES OF THE MARKETING MANAGER:
•The Head of Marketing oversees all product-marketing activities of the Maison in the Middle East region, ensuring the marketing team effectively fulfils the Management’s objectives.
•Define and implement the entire regional Product Marketing strategies in line with the Maison growth objectives.
•Contribute to overall corporate profit by defining collections growth, mix product, financial objectives and volume forecasts by product lines, teaming up with Commercial, Supply Chain and General Management.
•Lead, plan, and execute new product launches considering forecasts, seasonality for the entire region, as well as internal & external network specificities.
•Additionally, coordinate full launch & animation plans collaborating with cross-functional teams (Supply, PR, Training, Events, VM, Media & Digital, Retail…).
•Implement Special orders strategy and monitor the whole process: client request, drawings, specifications, deadlines, production time, confirming to the central guidelines.
•Contribute to the regional sales team’s product knowledge empowerment, with a special focus on High jewellery and High-end timepieces.
2. TREND ANALYSIS & RECOMMENDATIONS:
•Collaborate with Retail Performance team to track overall sales performances for all identified collections, novelties, key references (weekly, monthly, and yearly) in order to anticipate and react to changing environment.
•Work in partnership with Customer Care & Retail teams to identify customer’s trends and behaviours to detect business opportunities.
•Develop strong working relationship with Supply & Logistic teams to develop accurate and strategic forecasts for different product lines. Recommend adjustments to basic business forecasts based on new sales projections.
•Create and implement action plans and corrective measures by Markets / Boutiques, for both internal & external networks to achieve the yearly budgets.
•Issue a quarterly trend report including sales analysis & market trends and provide specific market insights (competition collections, distribution, pricing, strategies)
•Coordinate the Monthly update of competition pricing monitoring (especially Jewellery)
•Ensure markets operational excellence by sharing information and best practices and following up the execution at market level.
•Contribute to pricing decisions and implementation to ensure the pursuits of our product valorisation.
•Coordinate the ongoing pricing updates for the entire product category (Monthly, Bi-yearly) together with the Operations Director and finance teams.
4. ORGANIZATION & PLANNING:
•Product circulation calendar
1.Design regional circulation planning for High Jewellery and High-end Timepieces in line with market specificities and seasonality to meet the annual budget growth.
•Events & Animations Coordination:
1. Define relevant product assortments for dedicated events and Retail activation plans for each product category (High-Jewellery, Jewellery, Timepieces).
2. Monitor pertinent and innovative Marketing tools & collaterals (product information, training, especially soft & digital versions).
3. Prepare and present yearly product-marketing strategy and support plans during internal regional retail seminars, and work closely with Retail Managers (internal & external teams), Retail performance and supply chain to coordinate buying sessions & forecast process.
4. Organize & monitor different communities seminars(High Jewellery board, academy, and Watch)
1.Team up with training teams to:
•Deliver and present relevant product package for the induction of new joiners.
•Plan the yearly product-training program matching product launches or targeted lines activations.
2. Collaborate with training & Retail teams (internal & external) to:
•Animate, develop, and grow sales communities at local & international level (High Jewellery, Timepieces) with both Training & Retail teams
•Create a Jewellery community to identify and grow major sales contributor of the category.
5. TEAM WORK & MANAGEMENT:
•Establish strong working relationships with the Central Marketing teams: communicate regularly to outline sales performances, market specific needs, opportunities & trends, providing quantitative and qualitative feedbacks on product launches and basis business.
•Develop and maintain strong and supportive relationships with cross-functional groups (Retail, Supply chain, Training, Visual Merchandising, event & PR, Media & Digital) to enhance achievement of objectives. Ensure extensive information flow related to the product marketing plans and updates on a timely basis.
•Manage, coach and inspire the direct team members by being able to prioritize their workload and offer ongoing development opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:
•Master ‘s degree with previous experience in a similar marketing role (8 years at least)
•Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
•Good organizational, self-motivation, time management skills.
•Great ability to self-manage workload and multi-task to tight deadlines.
•Manage complexity, adapt to change, strive to improve quality and delivery, excellent plan and organization skill.
•Experience of working in a commercial environment.
•International experience and exposure to varied client base.
•Confident and outgoing personality with great team spirit.
•Excellent presentation & communication skills in an international & multi-cultural environment.

•Actively network across different functions, across different zone and markets.
•MS office ability, especially PowerPoint & Excel.
•Proficiency in English. Arabic and / or French are a plus.
